Linocut

Media Dimensions: 25 x 30 cm

Image Dimensions: 17 x 20 cm

Edition of 2 (with unique variations)

Framed/unframed

My work explores print, predominately linocut images and hybrid mix of techniques with Collagraph and dry point.  These are related to experiences of time and place in colour, line and texture, connecting stories and everyday moments.. Initially a book of drawings collected scraps that became a response to new and unusual places. Print has always been the medium I turn to as a final result for any image. Drawings, Photographs Cyanotypes and Constructions all lead this way. Recently work has involved found ephemera and manipulated textures, shapes and silhouettes of people and places.. Layering, impressions and textures help build up symbols and mystery  as well as the accident and chance of the process. Work has been exhibited in various collections including the Knapp Gallery, Mustoe Merriman Ad Agency, National Art library/ V&A. Illustration awards/Society of artists agents, National print exhibition, RFH, Guitty Talberg, Jill George, The Hayward Gallery, The Brain Trust, Inktober, RE Small but Mighty, Bankside Gallery  The Sketchbook project /Brooklyn Art library and the Woolwich Print Fair.
