Words were written down in a social setting while being viewed by a partner (Alicia Disandolo, Goldsmiths 2023), who would document an intrusive thought in reply to the last repeated phrase. The words were chosen by instinct, never more than a sentence, then repeated. This documentation of thought patterns would continue over 2 months, each layer representing a separate session of writing.
