Talk | Innovations: A Cabinet of Curiosities

The University of West England’s, Centre for Print Research present exhibiting Artists in conversations, exploring the crossovers between craft, print and new technologies that push the boundaries of printmaking.

Carinna Parraman, Director of The Centre for Print Research at University of the West of England, Bristol will be talking with Laura Clarke Oaten, Master-Printer at CFPR, and R James Healy  about printing innovations at the CFPR  and the Cabinet of Curiosities. 

They will discuss the intersections between the artist and the machine, the translation between the handmade and the digital, reflecting on James’ recent work and other inspiring and innovative examples from the artist in residency programme at CFPR.

R James Healy has collaborated with major visual effects studios worldwide on music videos and feature films.

This is the second year the CFPR Editions and the Cabinet of Curiosities will be showing at Woolwich and will be bringing new exciting collaborative artworks and conversations.
